Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $60.00 from Korrekt - Haarlem/Holland

Summary:
Really professional small speakersystem which you have to put on the lightnet with a small amplifier of 12 watts. I use them for my MD-player when I go on holiday. Just plug it in and you have a great, natural and quality sound which you would expect from JBL speakers. Not exagerated high power with a enormous base but a fair amound of power which is enough to fill the hotelroom with a clear sound. Easy to put in my suitcase as well. The best choice you can make for size and value. The sony's cost almost double over here!

Strengths:
Compact, Clear sound. Enough power

Similar Products Used:
Sony

Review 2 of 2

Summary:
ALL I CAN SAY IS THESE ARE DA BOMB! FOR THE $4 + S&H FROM
UBID. TEHSE WERE UNDER 20 BUCKS. THEY BLOW AWAY THE SPEAKERS THAT COME WITH YOUR PC (MINE WERE POLK BUT THEY WERE GARBAGE). I WOULDNT RECCOMEND ANYTHING ELSE FOR A COMPUTER. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT CAMBRIDGE, ALTEC, POLK, OR ANYTHING. UBID.COM IS WHERE THE DEALS ARE AT. THE MATCHING SUB CAN BE BOUGHT FOR ABOUT 12 BUCKS PLUS SHIPPING. ITS A HELL OF A DEAL. I RECCOMEND THESE FOR ANYONE WITH A PC.

Strengths:
CLEAN HIGHS, EXCELLENT MIDS, VALUE AND PERFORMANCE

Weaknesses:
BASS RESPONSE, THE MATCHING SUB TAKES CARE OF THAT

Similar Products Used:
POLK, ALTEC LANSING

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
