Bottom Line: i have listen to many speakers in that price but never anjoy anithing more then the l 8.now i have the denon avc1 sr
attach to them and by far my appriciatin to them only grows.

Bottom Line: At the price i paid (225$ each) I think the sound quality is outstanding. Even though it's an old model it's better than anything I've heard in that price range.
A friend of mine owns a pair of KEF Q75 at 450$ each! After he heard the L8's he was ready to sell his KEF's to buy th L8's.
I use them for both music and surround, and I think they are great at both. I don't need a subwoofer just yet.
