Good Value for money.

Can sometimes sound a bit dull when compared to higher priced speakers.

I've had these speakers for a couple of weeks now find them good value for money. I'd just purchased a DTS amp (Pioneer 409)and wanted to get some surrounds and a centre without blowing the budget.

These JBLs were low priced ($297 Aust) and when I listened to them next to others in the same price range in the sound room they stood out for their realism. The others sounded louder but not as refined.

After testing 'em out for a while I think they are adequate but may upgrade the centre speaker in a year or so. To get you started they are a great buy however.
