There are not many strengths. Maybe 20 cm bass and that's it. The only good thing is that they are better than Studio 170, which are complete garbage. So Studio 180 is garbage, but not complete. :-)

Bad tweeter, do not sound even, there is lack in sound picture.

Au niveau sonore, rien à redire... Mais c'est au niveau du design que les ingénieurs de Jamo auraient pu faire des efforts... A part une boite carrée et un tissu noir presque transparent devant, elles ne sont pas très jolies... Mais l'important c'est qu'elles donnent un bon son, non ?

J'ai acheté ces enceintes pour mettre avec mon amplificateur de marque Sharp : un OPTONICA SM-3000...
Ce lot donne un excellent rendu sonore... Même à un volume très élevé, il n'y a aucune saturation des enceintes... Alors est-ce que c'est parce que j'ai un ampli génial, à vous de voir...
Une fois l'ampli bien réglé, ni les basses, ni les aigües ne sont superflus...
Peu importe le style de musique qu'on met, les enceintes passent tout ! Je n'ai eu aucune mauvaise surprise...
Les basses sont très bien rendues... Je ne suis jamais monté à fond car j'ai peur d'exploser mes vitres... Mais je n'ai jamais entendu grésiller ces enceintes.
J'en suis très content.

Pretty big MDF cabinet so would burn pretty well.

Go fairly loud if thats all your worried about.

Awful thin hissy treble.
Hard to drive.
Low levels of bass.
Midrange sounded narrow.

Just woeful.

Bought these for my first system coupled with a Sony TA-FE330R amp and a Sony XE220 CD player.

Fairly Budget amp and cd player but with decent speakers they sing pretty well.

With the Jamo Studio 160's they did anything but sing. No matter what you played it sounded dog awful.

Super invasive nasty hissy treble, no mid range and lacking amounts of bass given the size of the speaker.

In fact the only way i could get anything like a tune out of these monstrosities was to turn source direct off and add some bass and reduce treble.

Awful, without doubt the worst floorstander made in modern times.

THEY SUCK! These speakers are really bad. They need a lot of power to play, have harsh, hissing treble and lack bass.
