These must be one of those hidden gems. I brought these as a stop gap when my reference speakers were being upgraded. Well I was blown away by the sound of these. I tried them on all 3 of my amps from my Quad valves to a pioneer A400 and they sound good on all. Obviously they can't compete with the big boys in final detail but the have a forward bubbly presentation that really impresses,
I have had no problem using these + they look dam fine to boot.

Strength:

Nice bass reproduction, good in middle, very good highs. I like it! :)

Weakness:

none.

Very good speaker for this price. I think best buy in this category. The only "problem" is that it's too sensitive for placement.

Strength:

details of sound, they are very good for classical & jazz but also good for any other type of music; good connections.

Weakness:

on my ear in the low frequencies there is something lacking in respect of pop & rock but this can be replaced by assisting with a good sub.

The speakers are very good for the price however, taking into account some other various factors when purchasing such items, for instance your personal ears I can say without any doubt that I am happy with them as long as I can listen any type of music. There are of course some additional things like the amp. used and/or eventually an equalizer or the acoustic of your room and even the other components of your system.
In my country there are not so many oportunities (read dealers) to buy hi-fi components as they are generally speaking expensive for our pockets, so it is not economic for companies to trade such items. Therefore I had the chance to listen only for some Tannoy MX3-4, Infinity and the Cornet, Studio, 7.7 models of Jamo. It appeared to me that the Classic 6 is the right option so I would not give any advice to anyone but to use your ears and look as well into your pocket.
By the way, our friend from that country speaking a lathin language and having some problems with our ears should consult a practician or he might consider revising his attitude. It could be that due to the accounting system in his country some people would encounter some difficulties in expressing their ideas.

Strength:

Reasonable build, bi-wired. Excellent mid-range & high frequencies, credible bass for size. Slim size

Weakness:

NOne really for this class of product.

Thse are easily handleable speakers and don't monopolise your room. They are excel;lent for classical & acoustic music (guitar in particular). Thery are very pleasant to listen to. The only limitation is the ground shaking low bass that some may like in home theatre or percussion in orchestral pieces. The sound is bright and illuminating and is best paired with classical British smoooth amplification eg NAD or valve amps. They are sensitive speakers and would go well with a low powered Class A valve amp.
The French review isn't worthy of translation as he obviously has "merde for brains"

I bought these speakers at a sale from one of the local electronics shops that carry mainly Jamo and MissionThey sound pretty good ... to my ears that is ... i wouldnt know how other people would rate them
But i'm pretty happy with the speakers and the materials and build is pretty impressive.
The high and mids are clear and the bass is pretty natural

Strength:

Quality sound!Pretty good bass!Beautiful Design!Bi-wiring!

Weakness:

None..well,the high frequencies sometimes makes me a headache(but I think it could be the amp)

I was hardly finding the way to have a quality speakers to marry´em with my Sony STR-315DB (in a price range accordingly to my pocket,of course). When a was decided for a pair of $180 Jamo Studio150 the dealer told me about Jamo Classic4 on sale.My try to ear both and decide was foolish.I´m so proud of´em.Perfect to Jazz and Instrumental music. You´ll need a large room and no windows to adquired all their power (Actually I haven´t it and I´m so happy..)

I am not an expert, but listened to some different makes before settling for Classic 6 speakers as main and Classic 4 speakers as rear speakers. These are coupled to a Pioneer DVD and a Yamaha amplifier.

One of the best buys I have ever made in my opinion. Good crystal clear sound on the high notes and pretty good low down too.

Strength:

Supreb Reproduction of Music

Weakness:

None that I know of

These are actually Classic 4s-which are the bookshelf version of the Classic 6s. The speakers take a little time to break in-but once you do-the sound detail is incredible. There is superb separation of instrumentation in musical recordings, which is great for jazz or classical recordings. I happen to like rock music, and these speakers do a fine job of handling that too-there is no "blending" of instruments like you often get in speakers in this price range. I likes the Polk's too, but ultimately found they were a little biased on the treble side.
