from Crutchfield Summary: The Infinity IL30's are overall great speakers. The price paid wasn't mine-the wife bought them as a surpise gift.
The new CMMD woofers are very light and rigid and can handle plenty of power without buckling. The tweeters are pretty good for the most part but I found the EMIT-R tweeters on my previous Infinity Reference 6's much better. These are ported speakers which I'm not accustomed to, but they do quite well with bass-I was quite surprised. The new look of the IL series is nice too...fits most new decors well. I can't review the imaging as a part of my couch covers some of the right speaker making imaging a nightmare. Strengths: Great woofer driver, nice cabinet, handles power with ease. Weaknesses: Tweeter responce could be better (>20kHz) but still very good. Similar Products Used: Infinity Reference 6 (discontinued)
