i bought these on clearance for 229 each delivered they cant be beat at this price i have owned alot of speakers and these sound great with my adcom components great low end that you can feel and nice highend thats not shrill well worth the price i paid

I matched my Infinity C336's with an HK 3550HD AVR and use it for both audio listening and surround sound for video. I also have the matching Infinity C225, a pair of Infinity LS328C's in the ceiling for my rear speakers, and a TSS-Sub4000 subwooker. Most of my listening is light jazz, piano, and chill from Europe and I use the 5 Channel Stereo listening setting for the 3550HD and rarely turn on the sub. The sound is incredibly clear and balanced. I have received many complements for party participants.

The surround sound for movies required the subwoofer for impact and gives a realistic sound reproduction for movies and is especially neat for HD sports broadcasts. I think HDTV was invented for football and the crowd noises are picked up well.

I also own In Infinity Kappa 7.1's for my man cave with additional SM112 for rear channels. The Kappa's are definitely better for hard Rock and Country listening and are driven byr a DBX CX3 preamp and Onkyo M-501's biamped for Kappa's and Onkyo A-7070 for the SM112's rear speakers.

The Classia C336's are refined and easy to listen to for hours, as I usually have them on most of the day for background. Their clear highs ring through our frst floor and are balanced well with the lows, even without the sub turned on. A very livable speaker system.

I owned this product for scarce one month, and so far it has performed well enough for my expectatins and for the price payed I agree partially with the reviewer above in the sense that the tweeter seems unbalanced. Definitely the purchase of an additional subwoofer makes the hearing even more pleasent.

Speakers and subwoofer are connected to the new Yamaha RX-765, I can tell that CD-player (Technics, old model still working increadible), turntable (Project 1.2) and DVD (Sony) and even ipod sounds terrific.

I don't give the speakers the 5 star in overall rating, as I needed to purchase the subwoofer to obtained a better overall sound. But so far, for the price paid, I think is well beyond fair compare to the performance of the speakers.

hi, i have owned nothing but infinity speakers my whole life, irs sigma, renaissance 90, renaissance 80, mts prelude, kappa 9's, kappa 8's, composition overture 3's and many more that i can't think of right now, i just bought this pair of infinity classia c336's on ebay directly from harmon audio for $450.00, they are factory reconditioned and brought back to factory specs by harman and 100% functional as new ones and they carry the factory 5 year warranty, well let me start by telling you that out of all the speakers that i have ever owned these things sound by far the worst, so much for improved technology, in fact they sound so bad i cannot believe that infinity released this model, what where they thinking, all you have to do is play them for 10 seconds to know that the tweeter is way way to bright sounding, the speaker sounds like you are listening to a tweeter and a midrange taken out of the box with all woofers disconnected, the tweeter could have been a couple db lower for this speaker to sound ok, also the bass is very light with no impact at all, men's vocals sound like women vocals as there is no warmth to the speaker mid bass at all, i am very disappointed in how infinity speakers have taken a turn for the worst, if they continue to make speaker like this the mighty infinity name will be tarnished for ever, what ever happened to the emim and emit drivers that sounded so good, i feel the last good speakers that infinity made where in the late 90's epsilon, sigma, omega, and renaissance series, infinity should be ashamed of themselves for building speakers that sound this bad, i will not be buying anymore infinity speakers what a joke
