Price Paid:  $1500.00 from ebay

Summary:
Went to Digital phase showroom and I left saying I'm missing something. Found a pair of used Ap4s on ebay. Have them hooked up downstairs. I have a Jbl system upstairs. If I really want to listen to music I go downstairs. To me these speakers have depth that other speakers do not have. I am amazed at the small size woofers in the cabinet but after reading more about these speakers I understand why they sound better. The cabinets on these are large you need to have the room for them. Im considering replacing my jbl system upstairs with the smaller ap2s that they have.

Strengths:
Depth, midrange...just quality of sound

Weaknesses:
large

Similar Products Used:
Jbl, bose

Summary:
I purchased the Digital Phase AP4s after listening to a pair at a friends home. The AP4s replaced a pair of Carver Silvers, which after redecorating the "living room" (that's the name my wife calls my sound room. strange huh?) they no longer fit into the decorem. They are rated from 150 to 1000 watts of power. I am driving them with a pair of bridged Adcom 555s at 600Watts each. Although they don't have the ultra low end extention and the slightly over crisp sound of the Carvers, the low end is very good and much tighter than the Carvers They sound great in my room of apx 16'x 14'x 8.5' placed apx 1' from the rear and 16" from the side walls angled in. If you get a chance to audition a pair, bring a CD with some impressive low end
