I moved from Kappa 6 Infinity to these speakers after trying many others. A sub-woofer is necessary, but the sound-stage with Mythos 1's and Mythos 8 as center is remarkable, deep, and realistic. Mid range depth is especially noticeable. You could probably call these speakers flat or cold, but that may be a result of such good definition (hard to describe them without that word). The appearance is unique and minimal, but don't let that fool you. They can sing and the orchestra shines when they are fired up.
