Bottom Line: Great speaker! Please people don't think a TFv6.0 is a TF600! They are to different models and years made. The TF600 was made in 1992/1993 and the TFv6.0's where made in 1996/1997. The grill cloth is not hard too come off the TFv line of speakers just unscrew the 4 screws on the bottom gloss cap and pull the cap off, then pull the cloth off slowly. (it is glued on, so you will have too glue it back in place.) roll the cloth down the speaker cabinet and there you go, you can now get too the drives! reinstall cloth and glue too cabinet with 3M 74 or 77 then put the top back on with the 4 screws. Is it some work yes, but is it hard no. You will never really have too take the cloth off because this speakers run forever! I have my DCM 10.0's and 6.0's from 1996 to now 2012! I had one problem last year with the 10.0 the Blue circuit breaker went so I put on a new one and they are go too go for 20 more years! This speakers had a 5year warranty new and they work way passed that. The fuses and circuit breakers you can get from PartsExpress.com. The DCM TFv line is better then most speakers today, so if you are lucky and can find one buy it and give it a try! Models of TFv 6.0,8.0 and flagship 10.0.

Bottom Line: I bought these locally 3 years ago on eBay for a good price (can't remember what I paid) and picked them up in Chicago. I figured I would listen to them for a while and trade them for something else if wern't moved by them. I still have them, love the sound, look great, surprizing bass. Great speakers! All that the other reviews state are true and then some.
Strengths; rubber surrounds on the drivers means they won't be rotting on you. Great looking speakers. Sound fantastic.
Weekness;
If you ever had to remove or replace the socks I think it would be tough to get them back on correctly. No bi-wire capability.

Bottom Line: DCM Time Frame 600
Actually one of the top sounding speakers in the $1000 range, better than some in the $2000 range as well. If you listen to these with vocals only such as take 6 or the nylons you can actually hear the breathing and spittle in the voices its that clear!!!
Jazz cymbals and higher harmonics in the 12-15kh region are just crystal clear and if you know the difference you can tell if the stick hitting the cymbal is wood or plastic tipped. These speakers are that clean and clear, desroys the bose 901 series which sound like crap in the mid and upper range compared to these, have challenged friends with AR, JBL, Infinity, Polk, Bose am5 and 901, NHT and many other brand names and nothing compares to the clarity and punch of these things. I recently added the powered sub woofer and was just knocked out of my chair at the added bass( which really isn't needed)
If you can find a pair of these in good shape they are worth the money!!

Bottom Line: Very nice speakers.
They sound very spacey, and cristal clear.
Low frequenties are very well controlled, and very deep too.
Where these speakers really prove to be top of the line, is in the midrange.
I never heard speakers before wich sounded as clear, and narural as the Timeframes V6.0 in the midrange area.
Everyone has his own opinion, but I think they look great!
