Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $20000.00 from Audio Connection, Sydney

Summary:
After spending many hours getting the speakers to-gether and finding the best possion to place them, the sound they produce is well worth the trouble. They are very well suited for the reproduction of all types of music.
Each speaker requires its own stereo amp. to power it. I have had great success using a pair of Gryphon Antileon Signature Amps., combined with a Theta Voyager and Casablanca 2. The cables I have grown to love are the Blue range from Gryphon. They make the best sounding Audio Equipment of any manufacture I have tried, all FIVE STAR.
The above combination is FIVE STAR in every way.

Strengths:
Very well made, good looking and what a fabulous sound.

Weaknesses:
Very large and has a rather small footprint.

Similar Products Used:
Duntec speakers of similar size.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
