RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX THESE SPEAKERS SOUNDED GREAT .IM USING THESE WITH A JBL PB 10 SUBWOOFER AND A PAIR OF JBL CONTROLS FOR REAR SURROUND ,THEY ARE HOOKED UP TO A SONY DOLBY DIGITAL RECIEVER ,ILL SOON BE REPLACING THE JBLS WITH ANOTHER PAIR OF THE V6FS .THE BASS IS DEEP AND THE HIGHS ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR .THEY BLOW ME AWAY WHEN WATCHING DVDS AND SOUND EXCELLENT WITH MUSIC. THE BUILD QUALITY IS GREAT .NOT BAD FOR A 120.OO PAIR OF SPEAKERS

Summary:
These are great speakers, I mostly watch movies with them but also listen to music. I have these in system with 4 cv ht-s5's, a ht-center5 and a cv lw12 woofer, hooked up to a pioneer vsx-d811s. They produce crisp highs and clear mids, not a ton of bass but for such a small driver it is impressive! The cabients and drivers are very well constucted. All and all a great pair of speakers!!

Summary:
I`ve been listning 2 the v6f`s for about a week now, i`m still extremly shocked from the good sound this small speakers produce. They even have a little deep bass to. And compared to my old vs 12`s they are a lot nice look, and the sound qual are a lot better. The best sound qual i`ve heard from cv so long. Hooked up with my lw 12 sub they are completed!
