Bottom Line: these speakers are at the most, an ok speaker for the normal use,i do have a set of d-9's sitting side by side to the V-15 and the D- 9's rule,i do use both sets for an extra boost on the woofers, the added punch is awsome at low leves [around 100 watts] but the V-15's begin to distort around 110 watts where the D-9's begin to really kick in at these levels, when i really want it loud,i turn off the V-15 and grank up the D-9's. the V-15 were made in malaysia and the D-9 's were made in the good old usa in 1984 in 1984,refoamed once and still knocking the pictures off the walls, if you are willing to travel, go for the D-9 when in the market for cerwin vega

Bottom Line: ...having had many speakers over many years, and 'finishing' with top Linn system based on 1990 Isobariks I decided to 'downgrade'...
When Isobariks had gone, realized I wanted largish black-grey speakers ..had feeling about 'unfashionable' Cerwin Vega ... bought VS15 ... amazed by their audio-quality ... a true bargain, even in UK ..

Bottom Line: The V-15F is nothing, compared to the DC-15`s.....the power handling is not so big, but a big pluss is that they are easy to drive ( the DC-15`s need much more power!!)

Bottom Line: i amonly 18 years old and i have always been facinated by audio and sound reproduction. Over my lifetime i have heard some of the best home audio and home theater systems in the world and when it comes to home audio and entertainment nothing packs more boom than Cerwin Vega!!
The V-15F packs one helluva punch! The 15 inch woofer and 6 inch midrange driver works well and compliment each other in performance. The tweeter produces crisp tight highs and are very easy on the ears. In all the whole system including internal crossovers and components iz perfectly matched.
I recently obtained some Low frequency notes that are used for signal testing in professional car audio competitions. The V-15f's kicked all the way down to 25 htz.
That's only 5 htz over the hearing treshold so that must mean it's loww!!!
These speakers have wowed me and i would recommend them to any audio enthusiasts..

Bottom Line: The V-15's are truly amazing speakers!
Big improvement in highs and clarity over
the Ls-15's, with the same deep bass.
I power them with a yamaha p-3200 power
amp using a h/k AVR320 as a pre-amp
and they really sing!
They can pretty much take all the power I can give them without distorting which should be more than enough to impress any critic. Truly in my opinion one of the best speakers that can be bought!
