Summary:
I recently bought a Cerwin-Vega CVT-200A subwoofer,I am very pleased with the sound of this woofer,it is not boomy at all,very clear sound and powerful,it takes alot of volume just to get the woofer to work hard. It has a 200 watt[rms] amp built in and it plays music better than alot of others subs and home theater is awesome.I am running the sub with an Acurus 200x3 amp and interga amp for the sat. Also have an Acurus ACT3 preamp/processor. I would highly recommend this sub.

Strengths:
Plays very loud and clear, blends in with music great,it is video-shielded.Never boomy

Weaknesses:
It is rectangular upright shape with a small footprint but it is tall so it cannot be placed under an end table or coffee table

Summary:
Well this is a super sub, and delivers great bass, as well as superb sound quality. For the price this thing is a monster. Shakes my walls, while remainin severly crisp.Gets down LOW!..hehe 25 Hz is low enough for any one shakes everything, but I really want to open this thing up and see what it can do, unfortunately I live in a 3 story apartment building, and tenants now hate me because of this thing. 30 seconds of playing it medium loud, i get a knock at my door. But I love the sub, and recommend it highly.

Strengths:
Great sound quality, strong bass. Great for movies, and home theatre. Thin design

Weaknesses:
Umm.. neighbours complaining?
