Review NaN of , from Calif

Price Paid:  $425.00 from Thr Good guys!

Summary:
This is an excellent speaker. I bought these at accommodation through my employer at that time. They are a 2 way transmission line with excellent bass, a very smooth and detailed midrange, but these have he same high frequency shrill at higher volumes like it's bookshelf cousin the Celestion 5. The sound integrates welll and really sound better with separates than with even HQ receiverer's, but we all know thats a very subjective area. I used mine with an Adcom GFP-565 and GFA-535.. Awesome sound. these are rare on the used market, and i've never seen a pair on Ebay in over 2 years. If you can find a pair in good shape..snatch'em up.. you won't be sorry. Expect to pay 300-400 or so for a good used pair. If your a vinyl lover.. try these with a good T/table and pre amp/amp set up. You'll be pleasantly surprised!!

Strengths:
Excellent detail, center image and sound stage. VG bass and a mid range to die for!!

Weaknesses:
Can get a bit shrilly at high volumes with bright music... Not a meatl speaker. Great for Jazz, Vocals, and classical.
