By virtue of the coaxial chassis, the front area of these mini-boxes is no larger than a CD cover. The aluminum-manganese dome tweeter with neodymium magnet is located centered on the same axis as the midrange transducer, giving a nearly ideal point sound source. Plus XS can be used as an effects speaker in Dolby surround systems or as second satellite pair supplementing the subwoofer system Fonissimo 2+. The Canton mount holder available as an accessory item permits mounting on a wall or ceiling. The speaker stand LS 200 permits free positioning in the room. The Plus XS is also available in magnetically shielded version as center-speaker.
Weaknesses: Needs the support of Subwoofer.
Running-in period approx 50 hours.
Sound detail so clear that some older (lowquality) CD´s sounds bad.
Bottom Line:
Bought 5 of these together with a Canton subwoofer. The sound is extremely clear and very detailed. The speakers are very ligth-driven wich suits my Onkyo receiver.
