Bottom Line: I picked these loudspeakers up because the used price was
right. They retailed for 2500.00. After listening to these
awesome babies I can honestly say im very, very impressed
with these loudspeakers. Ive have Infinity RSB-1's. Acoustat 2 hybrid electrostatics. My roomie has Infinity Beta's, and a complete home theater with Meridian processor.
We know what good sound is in this house! Im so impressed
with these 802's that I can say there not leaving this house, and becoming my main speakers of choice. I have heard things in the music, I have never noticed with any loudspeaker, and I have owned more different types, and brands then the normal audiophile. I trade and swap, and sell constantly. These 802's however will remain in my collection permantly. I would highly recomend a high end sub with these. Bass extension below 50hz falls quickly.
You cant do wrong by purchasing any B&W loudspeaker.
They win awards yearly throughout there product line.
Also, B&W's are used in over 80% of all classical music
recording studios, and used in the final mix. They are
also used in many of the worlds top recording studios
for final mix because of there extreme accuracy.
