Actually bought the Xenons while looking at another set of speakers at a dealers "studio". I have no regrets and would highly recommend these speakers that were comparible (to my ear anyway) to the B&W 803d sound. At half the price, I am pushing them with an audio research vs110 which has plenty of power.
One thing I have noticed is that they seem more attuned to music, jazz / classical than vocals per se. But that may just be an opinion or an indictment of my vocal CDS. Would buy again and enjoy listening.

Strength:

Detail, transparency, imaging. MUSICAL!

Weakness:

Slight lack of bass control (most likely the fault of my room).

Amazing speakers for the price, at least here in finland where they cost 2720 euros. Can be used with less than high-end equipment, but of course, they sound best with cd-players and amps in the same price region. The only complaint I can think of is a slight lack of control in the bass (at least in my listening room). Detail and transparency is impressive, and as long as they have plenty of space to breathe the imaging is among the best I've heard. But most important, they are extremely musical!
