Review 1 of 1

Summary:
If you are looking for the best midrange sound speaker, this is the one. Once you hear the Stella, it will be very2 hard for you to turn to other speaker. Moreover, it's imaging (sound staging) is great as well. It has low frequency processor which you can adjust the level and the respond time. Therefore, you can get the best low frequency performance in your listening room by adjusting the processor.
As for it's high frequency, you will never find any edgyness. You can listen to this marvelous speakers on and on without getting fatigue.
The only problem is, it needs four pair speaker cables and a huge solid state power amp (min 350-500 watts per channel.)

Strengths:
Absolute clarity, great soundstaging, one the best midrange sound I ever hear

Weaknesses:
Need four pairs speaker cables

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
