Strength:

Very powerfull bass, natural midrange and silky smooth treble. Very nice finishing also.

Weakness:

The matching stand is little bit expensive but it is work well

This is the best monitor speaker I have ever heard. It can beat most of floorstander easily in term of transparency, details and bass punch. Microdynamics is excellent as its macrodynamics.

This eye-catching speaker attracted me when I visited an audio shop. The appearance is so beautiful with lacquer finishing. The shop assistant made an audition of this speaked for me. Using CD Player : Arcam Alpha 9, and Phatos Twin Tower (Integrated Hybrid Amp), interconnect : Griphon MkII, and audioquest for the speaker cable. Plying "Diana Krall" (look into your eyes, impulse), we heard her vocal was very clear and detail, musical and the sound staging immediately filled the room. We tried again with the other CD (Holly Cole, temptation), again we felt the bass so deep and did not believe that this monitor speaker could have so tight bass like the floor standing ones. The price was very expensive for this monitor classification (i.e. USD 2K), nevertheless, I fell in love with it and it has matched my satisfaciton of soft jazz and classic music.

Strength:

Full and neutral sound. Super powerful bass without being too boomy.

Weakness:

Can't beat ribbon trebles or even Dynaudio's.

This is the first monitor I've heard that sounds very much like a pair of floorstanders. I heard it in a show in Jakarta last week powered using a set of Primare system then Roksans. Very impressive reproduction of Diana Ross's voice but I have a feeling that it wouldn't do rock too well (as usual, no hard core CD present). In Jakarta this Swedish speaker seems to be the most popular among real audiophiles due to its matching sound with tubes. It's a bit overpriced and for a bit more you can get a pair of R630 ribbons from Newform Research that would beat it in many areas especially treble and transparency. The bass sounds very deep and solid with only a slight notion of boom. I've never seen this brand sold in US. If you like soft music and have the opportunity to check them out, please do.

Strength:

Transparent, Neutral and musical with good mid&high, deep bass.

Weakness:

lack of ultra bell and infra bass

Very neutral, musical and suitable for soft jazz and classical music. This speaker can not reach the ultra bell and infra bass but these weaknesses are acceptable for the catagory of the bookself speaker. The appearance is luxurious and the price is quite expensive for this speaker catagory.
