Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $400.00 from j&r

Summary:
At first I was not impressed or happy with these speakers. I hooked them up to a fisher rec-. I was getting no highs.
I had them up for sale. Then I hooked them up with my Proton
Amp 150 a channel and bang highs in your eyes.the BASS was always there. Bass is deep not muddy. They also come with 125 watt amp in each to push the 2nd driver. Which I dont know why you would? so for the price and bass for the buck
its a great speaker.

Strengths:
srong bass, real strong w/o powered drvers on, nice highs and mids. looks great

Weaknesses:
to get good highs need to push with some power, they can take it

Similar Products Used:
none I would compare

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
