Swan C3 Center Channels Reviews

Swan C3
MSRP:
$ 649.00
The Swan C3 may be a real looker but it has the engineering to back it up. Swan's distinctive 28mm silk dome tweeter and 50mm textile dome midrange raise the bar for all speakers at this price.

Price Paid:  $425.00 from Private owner

Summary:
The puchase price listed above included a pair of R3 rears. Read about my views on the matching main speakers here: http://www.audioreview.com/Main,Speaker/Swan/PRD_292593_1594crx.aspx All opinions apply to the C3, except for those regarding bass. Don't get me wrong, it does well and it is moderately large and pretty heavy. But doesn't have the internal volume to reach as low as the 5.1's. Also, you should know, this is for the model with the top mounted, doped silk dome tweeter. This is an important part of the system, since I listen to multi-ch sacd. Of course, most dialogue comes from the center ch. as well. It integrates very well with the mains -Pi
