Summary:
I chose the RTS-C1 center channel speaker over the Sound Dynamics RTS CS-2 because it was both cheaper, and not so gigantic. It matched better with the dimensions of my existing Boston A70 stereo speakers. The Boston A70 speaker is large bookshelf speaker rated as 45-20,000 khz. The CS-1 is rated as 60-20,000 khz (according to the manual).

The RTS CS-1 speaker produces pleasing tones which are not too bright, nor too chesty. It has very clean sound and can reproduce high frequency tones with no effort. It has surprising low bass extension. Occasionally, I am surprised to hear significant bass coming from the center channel!

Voice reproduction is excellent and very realistic. It is superb for movies.

I have no complaints about this unit. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys rich, pure sound. Although the unit is fairly light-weight, this doesn't appear to affect its performace.

I originally was using a small Sony SS-CN15 center channel. The SD blows the Sony away! (Of course this is not surprising since the SD is so much bigger.)

FYI, I have matched the CS-1 with a Sound Dynamics RTS-800 Subwoofer, and with a pair of CS-2000 (Cine-Series) Sound Dynamics surround speakers. They all perform great!

Strengths:
Well constructed. Mid-size cabinet - not domineering.

Weaknesses:
Inexpensive appearance.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
