Review 1 of 7

Price Paid:  $250.00 from Future Shop

Summary:
There isn't much to say but perfect for the price. It has a nice natural sound to it. I usually get compliments on how good my center speaker sounds. My only regret is not buying two speakers so I could replace my current rear center speaker with this model. (The price paid is in $CDN)

Strengths:
Best value. Great for voice detail.

Weaknesses:
nothing

Similar Products Used:
Bose, Fluance, B&W, Sony, Pioneer

Review 4 of 7

Price Paid:  $199.00 from Crutchfield

Summary:
More detailed information is on my review for the Polk RTi38. I purchased these along with the RTi38's. I was amazed at high nice it sounds. You truly do not realize how much sound is center channel driven until you listen to 5.1 or better. Excellent build quality, imaging is outstanding, very impressed. I only use it for movies and such, and have not found a single thing I do not like about this center channel speaker.

Strengths:
Heavy. Adds 100% impact to movies that I watch now. Seamless front staging and imaging with the RTi38's as my main speakers. Warranty/Customer Service is excellent. Just plain great speaker!!

Weaknesses:
None.

Similar Products Used:
None. I have listened to many other brands. I chose Polk due to past experience and value.

Review 5 of 7

Price Paid:  $250.00 from Future shop

Summary:
That price is TAX in, Canadian funds. This center was with 5 others in the show room. The display was set up in a way you can listen to a movie or music and switch between all 6 centers. This center was the most natural, clear, smooth sounding speaker by far. My other speakers are Polk as well (I am a believer in silk dome tweeters) the whole system works soo well together a freind of mine just bought the exact speaker system - except he got the active 10" polk sub - and he is very very happy in following suite. I really recomend this speaker for anyone looking for smooth unharsh sound from a center in a resonable price range.

Strengths:
Natural, clear, smooth, this best describes it. There are so many others that are either muddy or harsh or that do not cover the sound spectrum well. This does most everything very well at the same time looking nice. Also build quality is excelent.

Weaknesses:
I really could not say of anyweakness. It really is about the nicest center for my current system.

Similar Products Used:
Bose, Acoustic research, Optimus, ---but listened to many others.
