from Hillcrest Hi-Fi Summary: I got a great deal on Monitor 5's and wanted the center to go with them, but they only had this year's model in the center. They've added a phase plug to the dual drivers. The speaker sounds great! I love the rich quality on DD and DTS soundtracks. James Earl Jones' voice sounds fantastic! It does a good job with the "Unleash Hell" scene in Gladiator (the new benchmark scene for me). Strengths: Good bass out of the center. The highs are good, not too tinny. Weaknesses: The unit is somewhat large. If you're going to put it above your TV on your entertainment center, make sure you have a large shelf above the TV. Similar Products Used: I've used Bose, M&K and B&W. The M&K were THX bookshelf speakers that were outstanding (a friends), the Bose were overpriced and not that great, and the B&W's were in-wall and not impressive for the m
