Energy C-6, RVSS surrounds, and an Velodyne HGS 12" sub. I don't think you can find a better center channel under $300.00.
One cannot underestimate the importance of the center channel in 5.1 surround. I believe it to be far more important in creating a believable experience than any of the other channels especially in dialogue heavy movies.
The EC-200 is near ideal. For the price, the sound is exceptional and will compete with rivals costing double. Much better than the Take 5 and Encore, they have a wide frequency range and are completely transparent throughout.
this is one of my most pleasing purchases. Strengths:
Dialogue seems to come over very naturally they are Balanced across the entire frequency range, good dispersion. Weaknesses:
