Bottom Line:
This speaker, the nestor 403 is actually a bookshelf speaker, which I am using for a center. This speaker right out the box is truly awesome!! Canton, a Manuf. from Germany is the Mercedes Benz of speakers. I did some research and read some reviews and this speaker is everything I thought it would be: very neutral and linear through its range, which is a very good match for my Acoustic Research AR302's, warm, smooth but assertive and not aggressive, depending on the musical source. The 403 is out of production (1999), but if you can find one please get them you will be glad you did.
