Bottom Line:
Still spending time listening to these new ZU Omens with different equipment, so far tubes and solid state both holding there own. I'm not sure about 98db rating as a pair of Klipsch Heresy;s played louder at all the same settings. Overall these speakers seemingly have set the bar at a new level for performance vs. price. If you told me they cost $3000.00 or better I'd believe it. I really like the look of these speakers I bought the black finish but all the finishes look pretty cool.

Bought the Original Omen...

Picked it up yesterday. Had to look around, though, as it was sold out in most places due to interest in the new remake. Found the 2001 special edition dvd at a Blockbuster for 8 bucks, which was a pretty good deal, as Amazon has it listed for $35! I guess it's because of the 2-disc version coming o ... Read More »

Omen Remake?

Got dragged to "Silent Hill" over the weekend. Won't even bother reviewing this confusing piece of crap. My stepson, a gamer, didn't like it either. I did see an interesting trailer for "The Omen:666", a remake of the Richard Donner classic. Decent cast, identical-looking shots to the original. I ... Read More »
