Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $900.00 from Local Hi-fi store

Summary:
Excellent sounding monitors. Especially for their size. I didn't think they could pull off such a rich and vivid sound, but it all changes when you start to give them some juice. I own a $450.00 Harman/Kardon reciever and a Panasonic S-47 dvd/cd player with great results. So you don't need the "best" components around for good results. I use Signal Audio cables all around. I haven't been happier with an audio purchase.

Strengths:
Rich and vivid sound. Excellent highs and mids. Great bass for size. Don't need expensive components to sound good.

Weaknesses:
Can't think of any.

Similar Products Used:
Legacy, Energy, Axiom.

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
