Summary:
I'm using 5 LCR650's in my home theater setup, paired with a Yamaha RX-V2500 and Klipsch KSW10.

Musically is where these speakers really shine. Throw in an acoustic piano track, turn the volume up, and close your eyes, it sounds like you're there. They also handle acoustic guitar exceptionally well. I couldn't be more pleased for music.

Home theaterwise, these speakers sound great. The tweeters are angled slightly away from the listening position, which creates a slightly larger sweet spot. Dialogue and effects come through with authority.

My speakers are cherry, but they also come in maple. The wood veneer on these speakers is beautiful. I also purchased four matching stands, which are also beautiful, if a bit overpriced. The speakers are very contemporary looking due to the modern look black metal grilles. They should fit in most decors, but won't in some (old world) living rooms.

I'd highly recommend these speakers for music. You can find better values for home theater if that's your main focus.

Strengths:
Handle acoustic details extremely well. Solid construction, beautiful wood finishes.

Weaknesses:
Contemporary looks won't work in all decors. There are better values out there for home theater.
