$0.00 Summary: In my quest for high fidelity at a low price, I decided to give JBL a try. I've owned some relatively inexepensive JBL products before, and I love the smooth sound. I have not had an oppurtunity to use this center for movies yet, but if it is anywhere as impressive as it is playing music, I am sure I have nothing to worry about. The Channel blends well with my S38II's, though I had to turn the level down a few notches to get it correctly balanced (It is simply more efficient). Strengths: Perhaps the finest midrange and treble I've had the pleasure to hear, it sounds bright without the harshness. Bass is tight but not weak, when I can find a more musical subwoofer the full range sound will kick ass. In general, the Studio series has impressed me. Weaknesses: Kind of large, making it tricky to place. I also am not taken on the plastic case, but it seems to be strong as it does not vibrate much at high volume. Similar Products Used: Sony, pioneer, JBL, Bose, Technics, Yamaha, plethora of car audio...blah blah
