Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $199.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
I listen to only classical music.

Crystal Clear High frequencies
Somewhat forward midrange

I modified the speaker cabinets from bass reflex to acoutic suspension.
The bass now is clearer and less prominent.

This speaker needs an amplifier of at least 50 watts per channel.

Strengths:
Lateral Soundstaging
Good speaker for small rooms

Weaknesses:
Very Heavy for their size.

Similar Products Used:
Kef Bowers and Wilkins

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $169.00 from Acoustic Sound Desig

Summary:
This Infinity Beta C250 Center Channel Speaker replaced a 8 year old Polk Audio Center Channel. I can't believe what I was missing. Voices from TV and DVD's are so much more vivid and clear.
The $169.00 price was a great value and I would highly recommend Aucustic Sound Desgin.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
