Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $210.00 from ebay

Summary:
I use these speakers as the left/right surrounds in 7.1 system. They sound excellent in that capacity. All of my other speakers are from the Infinity Beta Series so these blend well with everything I am using. These speakers are very accurate. Sorry, I did not meter them or anything like that. These also hit pretty hard for their size, and can reach fairly low.

Strengths:
Small size with a decent punch. Quality build. I opted for the cherry veneer which looks first rate. The drivers are also quality units. Metal grills protect the drivers from accidental damage. Overall sound quality is very good. Consumer Reports also highly recommended these speakers as well (seen review online). Their recommendation was based soley on accuracy. Speakers can handle 125 watts each. I primarily listen to music in 7.1 surrond, and I have been thoroughly impressed with the sound quality!

Weaknesses:
None

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
