Summary: This is beautiful speaker, I have experience with speakers and that sound is realistic for 100%, Celestion knows how to make proper quality woofers and tweeters. Great impression, very low distortions and excellent soundstage. Vocals,violins-with no questions. One of the best speakers in this category. And,for sure,everything OK with soundstage,separation between instruments-I had read some reviews from people who were saying that something wrong with soundstage,separation,-these people probably used not the best suited components,including cables,or probably they don't have enough experience.

Summary: The first thing that atracted to me of this speakers where their beautiful cherry-wooden finish. Then i noticed they were Celestion, one of the most respected speaker manufacturers in the industry. I always liked the sound of Celestion, very warm and realistic, especially in the highs with its well known titanium dome tweeter.(Many people think this kind of tweeter runs in to fatigue very quicky, and they may be right; but no Celestion,I think it's because of the ferrofluid-cooling system).
I needed to buy a pair of small entry-level surround sound speakers, but i couldn't find them for about 2 months. All the speakers i've seen in this price range sounded absolutly terrible (JBL, YAMAHA, CERWIN VEGA, ETC.) Until i found these Celestion.
I hooked them into my Yamaha RX-V1400 as front B speakers and started with Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car". The guitar sounded very realistic and the voice too. There was a little lack of soundstage and image, but what can you expect for a $19 pair of speakers?. There's a little bit of distorsion in the rear port especially if placed near a wall. That's because i won´t use them wall mounted.
Then i put one of my favorites "Marillion-The Great Scape" and sounded very well too. The Steve Rothery's Fender Stratocaster sounded very smooth and unusually clear. The mids were very precise and understandable.
I think this is the best bookshelf speaker for surround aplications of $19 that you can find. It can be wall mounted but i don´t recomend it and looks very nice in it´s wooden finish.
Strengths: Titanium dome tweeter made by Celestion.

Lack of soundstage and image (a little bit)

Hi, I read your review and I guess you might be mexican. Yes, I bought a pair of F10 for my rear of 5.1 setup. I have the F30 for front, Monitor Audio Bronce LCR for center, Velodyne VRP-1200 subwoofer. I hook them to an ONKYO receiver, the whole system just sound so damn good. Every friend of mine come to my home and they get impressed by the superb sound delivered by those speakers when a movie is played. Well the fact that it's madi in China is not a big deal to me, since they are made under England quality standard. Anyway I have to say, CELESTION knows how to make a good quality speaker at this price range. They also have the pedegree at guitar loudspeaker industry.
