Summary:
I purchased the Nestor 403 two years ago in a model closeout sale. I have owned many different speaker models and this one, by far, gives the most pure, true sound to classical music. With the speakers on 24" stands, 8 feet apart, it sounds as though you are in the midst of the orchestra. I have some jazz recordings that sound great with them, also. I highly recommend them to anyone who especially listens to classical music.

Strengths:
Clarity, realistic sound reproduction, build.

Weaknesses:
Not the greatest for heavy rock music.
