Bottom Line: Lately i bought a pair of Bose 301 Mk2 in perfect condition. I must say that my Studiocraft 220 (manufactured by bose as well) sound better than the 301's particularly in the upper frequency range.

Bottom Line: this was not good speaker spent almost five hundred dollars on these speakers and they were not a good value. They give good mid range yet otherwise worth less. Went on to put these as side surround speakers and up graded quickly to a pair of sony speakers I got off e bay for 40 dollars much better sound. The do not work well. Heard for years how great bose was and it was not a truth. will not make this mistake again.
