Bottom Line: Fantastic little speaker that has no right to sound as good as it does. Nothing exotic here. Just accuracy, deep sound stage and gorgeous at female voice etc. I have tried many speakers that may do this and do that better but the AX-2 speakers put it all together and at an unbelievable price of $549.00 when they were new. These can be had for $300.00 - $400.00 if you can find a pair of them for sale. That says something in itself. I may sell these someday and I may not, so keep your eyes open if you want a pair of speakers that won't break the bank. Definitely recommended by this listener.

Bottom Line: These speakers in my opinion are great. They present a very smooth non-fatiguing sound with very good clarity
and a good sense of openess. They are very evenly balanced. The midrange is liquid. Imaging while not pin-point precise is still excellent. Soundstage is large with a good sense of depth. For $700 Canadian I think these are a steal, especially if you like to listen for long periods of time.
