Tributaries SP4BW Silver Biwire OFHCC Speaker Wire Speaker Cables

Tributaries SP4BW Silver Biwire OFHCC Speaker Wire Speaker Cables

DESCRIPTION

· Two 14 AWG (American Wire Gauge) and two 12 AWG color coded conductors for bi-wiring speakers
· Each conductor consists of 658 strands of copper and silver plated wires in a gentle spiral configuration. The high strand count makes the wire extremely flexible.
· Silver plating reduces the overall resistance of each conductor, increasing the current-carrying capacity of the wire
· Different gauge conductors are used for different purposes – 12 AWG for low frequencies and 14 AWG for high frequencies. Large gauge conductors (like 12 AWG) work better for heavy loads typically created by low frequencies, and smaller gauge conductors are use for high frequencies that don’t create as much demand as low frequencies.
· Flexible dark blue jacket

Strength:

Easy to work with, nice and pliable.

Weakness:

None if you get it at the right price.

This is the best bulk wire that Tributaries has on its website. At 10 a foot, its not cheap, but at 6.25 a foot, what the heck. After intallation over stinger 10 guage ofc automotive wire, I didnt hear a great big difference. Give it a few days of play, and Wow, its great now. And Im sure its going to get even better.
