Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $150.00 from ebay

Summary:
Going on 2+ yrs of use and it's still going strong. Being an older player it is large in size but works great for my use. I don't use it for jogging or working out...just to take music and podcasts with me. I work 12 hour shifts and this unit still plays non-stop for 12 hours! I love the EQ but don't like the firmware. Unless you have a playlist loaded to the player and you want to play via artist selection it will play only one song at a time. Other than that....it plays fine and sounds great.

Strengths:
Battery length....sound...capacity

Weaknesses:
firmware...support...thumbwheel(when your trying to go through 15gigs of music)

Similar Products Used:
Nano 4 gig, i-river 512meg

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
