Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $99.00 from Target

Summary:
It worked great for about a year, but about 6 months ago it started pausing like the reviewer above talked about. The pauses got longer and longer until one day a couple weeks ago it just stopped working. It's very large and thick so dont think about sticking it in a pocket, and the headphones that came with it are horrible. Unless you have pretty good headphones, the highest bass will just distort the music completely. The handle attached to it is pretty useful though.

Strengths:
Water-resistant; handle; looks

Weaknesses:
very large; pauses; headphones;

Similar Products Used:
older G-protection Sony, crappy RCA player

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $129.00 from Wal-Mart

Summary:
The first one I bought wouldn't play the CD I had just purchased. I tried another CD and the same result. I exchanged it for another one. I must say that I was skeptical. I was happy with the new model. It has crisp sound and booming bass. I have put it through its paces with hiking biking and running, with virtually no problems. I do recommend buying a higher quality ste of headphones.

Strengths:
Durable w/ very good sound quality.

Weaknesses:
The headphones that come with it suck. It occassionally stops playing for no apparent reason and then picks back up after about 30 seconds.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $115.00 from best buy

Summary:
I think it was a waste of my time to go 30 miles to best buy to spend 100+ dollars for a pos. The first one i had distorted the treble when the bass boost was on(no, i didn't have the volume cranked). i had got no more than a mile away fram the store when i tried it out, i was disapointed, and returned to best buy to exchange it ,the second one did the same with every cd i put in it, so i can honestly say the sony sport is a pos, and waste of time/$$

Strengths:
won't skip durable

Weaknesses:
sound quality, volume adjuster
