from www.ezbid.com Summary: This is another good purchase I made at www.exbid.com. I got this CD player for about $56, which is pretty good. I own it for more than a year now and even though it was a refurbished unit, it still works beautifully. It is very lightweight, has 3 stage dynamic bass boost. This CD player NEVER skips. Trust me, I really tried to make it skip, but couldn't succeed. I mean you could easily go jogging with this baby. But if you want nice, clear and loud sounds, do buy a pair of good headphones (like SONY), not the one that came with it. I use those that go into your ear and has a strap over the head. Oh, one more thing... This CD player has no problems with playing CDR media, which is a GREAT thing... Strengths: very cheap, never skips, good sound, leight weight Weaknesses: Doesn't feel too durable (don't drop it!)

Review 3 of 5 Summary: I used the Philips AZ7894 cd player for less than a month. It showed to be a good product, it never skipped when playing because of its 45 sec ESA. After a few recharges, the recharge circuitry broke. I took it to be repaired, and I was told that they had got another one with the same fault. Now it's more than 3 weeks, and Philips still won't send the repairer the schemes to fix it. I would therefore not recommend buying this product.
Strengths: 45 sec Electronic Shock Absorption Weaknesses: It breaks!

Review 4 of 5 Summary: This is a great product. I've the AZ7894 model, the top of Philips's CD-man! It is not chip, in fact it is quite expensive, but its performances are magnific! Its ESA3 of 45 seconds (what a long time!!!) is insuperable and really unbelivable, but, in opposite of the ESP of Sony, it works better and better! I've used a Sony one for three years, and thera are not comparisons! If for you the money doesn't matter, this is the CD man for you!!! Strengths: 45(!!) second ESA3 (Electronic shock absorption), 45(!) hours playing time, large EL backlit LCD, very small and compact, light, good-looking, optical(digital) out Weaknesses: none Similar Products Used: Sony portable cd with 10sec of shock protection
