Review 1 of 1 , from Holmdel, NJ, USA

Summary:
I paid $70 for this player and got more than my money's worth. I bring it with me everywhere, cause I love my music, and it's never failed on me. After using this cd player, you can bet I'll buy more Phillips-Magnavox products in the future.

Strengths:
I've dropped this cd player so many times... kicked it across the floor(not on purpose)... covered it with stickers, nailpolish, boggle eyes, etc... and basically used and abused it and it still works great. It's VERY durable and has never cracked or broken on me.
I usually don't use the anti-skip because it hardly ever skips, but when the ESP is on, I have to shake it vigorously for about a minute for it to skip(then it apologizes). I can open the cd player and stop the cd with my finger, and if I close it right away, the song keeps playing with no skips at all.
The car kit works well and I've had no problems at all with it.

Weaknesses:
I don't like the hold button. When I have my cdman in my bag and the hold button on, if it moves around, the word "hold" appears on the screen and stays there, wasting the batteries.
