Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $110.00 from The play Ground, Lon

Summary:
I've had this player for about 18 months and have to say the sound quality is only matched by getting a pair of decent head phones. At home I can listen to this machine with my GRADO SR-60's, they pick up every little detail. I tried the player with a pair of Sennie's MX-500, paid £20 after my original panansonic earphones began to f4rt. the 500's lasted about 8 months and sounded ok for a 20 quid pair of phones

Strengths:
Sound quality shines with good headphones. Battery lasts ages, either recharable or with clucnky AA size attatchment. Thin, can stick it in ur back pocket!

Weaknesses:
Remote weak, prone to sractching Headphones weak Aluminium casing weak No back list screen Hinge weak, can close lob sided

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $185.00 from Power (Barkarby)

Summary:
I chose between this and Sony DE-J925 which are obviously very alike. I was going to purchase the sony, but after comparing these two I definately would have been a complete fool if I had chosen the Sony instead. (The sony has at least a ten times better remote though) The sound from this machine is absolutely the best I´ve ever heard for a player this small (far over my expectations)...But if you can stick with a bigger portable cd-player there might be other (cheaper) alternatives, otherwise I´m quite sure this is the best overall. The battery box for ordinary batteries is very clumpsy, but you don't really need it because the rechargeable batteries plays fully charged for very long... Coupled with good headpones this is a killer, good EQ options (train, normal, x-bass and live) and you can probably now get it much cheaper than I did...

Strengths:
Looks, Extreamly detailed and pure sound, long playtime, light & compact, useful EQ options...probably the best small portable cd-player for this price available...

Weaknesses:
Cheap remote, crappy headphones included (expected), external battery "box",

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $130.00 from Windows, Newvcastle,

Summary:
This portable CD player is an excellent, top of range piece of kit. I have used various other CD walkmans and none compare to the sound that this produces. If you want a portable CD player with loads of flashing lights, loads of functions like backlight or MP3 compatible then don't get this, but if you want a portable CD player that fits into your inside pocket, is light, easy to use, and has amazing sound then definitely consider this.

Strengths:
excellent sound. good, although basic functions. so small it easily fits into inside pocket. Really thin Really light in weight extra long battery life - 85 hours!

Weaknesses:
slightly weak hinge of lid no backlight on display slightly uncomfortable earphones

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
