Summary:
I bought a kenwood portable cd player it was the DPC-971 I thought it would be a good cd player at the price I paid ($199) but within a month it broke. It would turn on to the HELLO screen and would not read the cd and then it wouldnt turn off. After it was repaired it started to have more problems reading the cd and I had an extended warrenty so after 3 times of being repaired I got it replaced with the newer model DPC-981 which had the same problems plus new ones. With this model it would randomly stop playing music when using the DC adapter. In conclusion I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A KENWOOD PRODUCT AGAIN.I would have given this product a no star rating if I could.

Summary:
Kenwood discmans suck. Mine won't track right and skips a lot after a couple months. Stay away from them. This definately wasn't my first one to go bad on warranty.

Review 3 of 3

Summary:
Don't buy any Kenwood portable cd players. I got on about a year and a half ago with an extended 4 year warranty, and I have had 4 of them now. The first one came with a defect where it wouldn't play on an angle so i took it back, the second one came with a defect where the battery compartment didn't work right, and I used it for about 7 months before it started shutting off on it's own. Those 2 were DPC-382's. Next time they traded it in on a DPC-692 which is just like the X-602 only last years model. It came with defects where it wouldn't intermittently only track to the first and last track, or intermittently skip constantly. I took it back a few months later, and got it replaced by the same one and it had the same defect, but a couple months later the laser is going on it now, and it has trouble tracking a lot, and skips more easily than it did before. I hope nobody on here buys one or they are in for a waste of money. Get a Panasonic or Sony. Preferably Panasonic. Hope this helps.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
