Summary:
Excellent building block to use in any audio system to stream audio.
Works with windows
works also with winamp which was for me the reason to choose the apple.

Strengths:
once installed it works flawless

Weaknesses:
difficult to install in a windows wireless environment. configuring the encryption method is very important to get it up and running

Summary:
This is an excellent option to transmit digital audio from a computer to a Home Theater Receiver. It was the only option I found with digital output. Installation with Windows can be a little difficult if you are trying to connect to an existing network, you might need to connect via LAN cable first to configure the unit. The quality of the sound will be as good as the DAC inside your Home Theater. The unit can also act as wireless router to share an internet connection. You can also share a printer.

Strengths:
Excellent quality while using the digital output. Digital optical output (You need to purchase the Stereo Connection Kit sold separately)

Weaknesses:
Can be difficult to install on Windows networks. Must use I-Tunes (not that it's bad, but it's the only option)
