Bottom Line:
The poor rating goes to the 1996 model tape. TDK cheaply packaged and designed this one. Tape is prone to curling and flipping over to the other film of the tape. Recorded stuff off the radio on a rack system. Played the tape too many times and it got stuck in my walkman the tape curled so bad I had to cut and splice it. The cassette shell is weak and also garbage.

Don't get me wrong the 1988, 1987 and earlier versions of SA-X are supurb, but this one is as bad as Maxell XLII the 1989-1990 version. Their OK tapes but don't play them back several times or you will be disappointed!!!!
