from Atlantic Stereo,Costa Mesa,Ca. Summary: I had the unit for short period of time. The unit is not yet broken in at this time I will update my summary once it is. This tuner sounds pretty good althoug a little dryer sounding than the Mcintosh MR7082 it replaced. The only reason the Mac is longer in my system is it did not have a remote control and I got tired of getting up to make adjustments. This tuner is very quiet the background in classicl music comes it very well. The top end is not tubey sounding like Mcintosh but its midrange is very smooth for a tuner. By all means it is not harsh sounding so far I can sit back and enjoy this tuner without listning fatigue.
I have not installed a digital attena yet but plan to in the near future I will comment later on the tuners digital sound.
