Bottom Line:
This double cassette deck is very sophisticated but still a joy to use. Real time indicators, remote control (but only with a Technics amplifier) and most of all the ATC (Auto Tape Calibration), contribute to a pleasant listening experience. The sound quality is very good, and the ATC squeezes the most from every tape, while the Dolby C and HX Pro make tape copies hard to distinguish from the original source. Technics is a serious manufacturer and the RS-TR474M2 is the perfect example of audiophile quality at an affordable price (290$).
