Strengths:    LOUD!!! This thing can pump out the volume. And with the "Groove" on this thing can put out some big bass too. Also has a great equilizer system, with presets for different styles of music, as well as 3 eq bands you can change yourself. You can also create three eq presets that you can scroll through. The controls are easy to use and feel solid, and the display is detailed and easy to read, even from far away or at an angle. Puts out awsome quality sound, and has a pretty good remote.

Weaknesses:    The only weakness i have found is that the operation of the stereo is pretty loud. When you play, pause, rewind, fast forward, or stop a tape, rather than the usual tape player click, you get a series of rather loud, annoying, mechanical noises. The CD player changing discs is also somewhat loud. Not a huge problem, though, not a reason to not buy the stereo. i also wish the remote contained more of the buttons on the actual stereo. Again, not a big deal. Overall, no major weaknesses, and none that should dissuade you from buying this very well priced, awsome stereo.

Bottom Line:
Overall a very good stereo, especially for the price. I reccomend it to anyone looking for a solid, reliable stereo with good features for bedroom, etc. This stereo has never given me any problems, and i use it constantly. I'd give it an overall rating of about 4.4-4.6, but i can't so i just gave it a 4. 5 for value, though.
