Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $400.00 from The Sony Store

Summary:
This system totally rocks! After setting up the speakers properly I couldn't belive it! This tiny system that I had just purchased sounds like an enourmous component system. The bass and rich sound out of these tiny speakers is awsome! 35 watts per channel sounds like 100 watts per channel. I like the design of this system, very stylish, suits pretty much anywhere. I play the drums and I have this unit placed right next to my set, and NEVER EVER has this thing skipped! I'm speaking truthfully here, it has NEVER skipped!! This is a great system, Sony has really outdone themselves this time!! Way-to-go!!

Strengths:
Great sound from small sytem. Great bass response. Stylish. Great CD player, has never skipped on me. DSG improves sound quality greatly. One thing that really amuses me is the amount of distortion from this system. None! Even with bass & treble controls up all the way with DSG (Dynamic Sound Genorator) on, at maximum volume this system gives NO distortion. Sound is not weak.

Weaknesses:
I am happy to say that I have found no problems with this system!

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $199.00

Summary:
Bought two of these system for my kids rooms. This is a very compact system and a good match for small rooms. After listening to at least a dozen mini systems I found that for the money this system could not be beat. Sure, you can get better but I found that better usually cost around $300 or more. My son is thinking of adding a subwoofer for more bass but I am satisfied with the system as is. I also tend to be conservative in my ratings as I feel that if something should be rated 5/5 it ought to be perfect in performance at almost no cost.

Strengths:
Great Price, Good overall sound from small system.

Weaknesses:
Not much real bass from small speakers but this is the price you pay for a small system. Only on CD at a time.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
